Weekend Experience Audit
Sunday reveals your mission—and exposes where your systems are failing it
Because Sunday is the clearest expression of what your church actually values.
Sunday is the crystallization of a church’s mission. It is the one moment every week where vision, leadership, systems, and culture collide in public.
When Sunday runs with clarity and intention, momentum builds naturally. When it doesn’t—growth slows, volunteers fatigue, and guests leave unclear about who the church really is.
Sunday is a perfect depiction of what a church values.
Not what it says it values—but what it’s structured to deliver.
The Weekend Experience Audit exists to evaluate whether a church’s weekend experience is aligned with its stated mission—and whether it’s built to support growth or quietly resist it.
What Your Audit Includes
End-to-End Weekend Observation
The entire weekend experience is observed in live conditions, from arrival to dismissal. This captures how the church actually functions—not how it is intended to function—across guest experience, volunteer execution, and leadership presence.
Service Flow, Pacing & Transitions
The audit examines how services move—from countdown to dismissal—including pacing, transitions, and communication moments. This reveals where momentum is built, lost, or unintentionally disrupted.
Guest Experience & Decision Clarity
Observation focuses on what guests encounter at every decision point: where to go, what to do, and what is expected of them. Special attention is given to clarity, communication, and whether the experience removes or creates friction for first-time guests.
Leadership Presence & Ownership
Leadership visibility, communication, and decision ownership are observed throughout the weekend. This identifies where leadership reinforces clarity—and where ambiguity slows execution or creates dependence on informal systems.
Volunteer Deployment & Role Clarity
Volunteer roles, coverage, and handoffs are evaluated to assess clarity, sustainability, and fatigue. This includes where volunteers are overextended, underutilized, or placed in roles without clear ownership or expectations.
Documentation, Analysis & Reporting
All observations are documented and evaluated against the church’s mission and current growth stage. Findings are synthesized into a comprehensive written report with prioritized insights and 30, 60, and 90-day recommendations designed to transform Sunday into a reliable growth engine.
